Glenn Hoddle makes prediction about Tottenham’s season
Glenn Hoddle backs Tottenham Hotspur to launch a sustained title bid this season
Glenn Hoddle believes Tottenham Hotspur will be involved in the Premier League title race in the final games of the season.
The north London side are in fourth place in the Premier League table and just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal, who face Chelsea on Sunday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have only lost to Manchester United, Newcastle United and Leicester City in the Premier League so far this season.
Speaking on BT Sport ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, Hoddle explained why Spurs can’t be ruled out in the title race.
“I’d include Tottenham. It might go right to the last day,” said Hoddle.
Spurs were 3-1 winners over Crystal Palace in the top flight on Saturday.
Tottenham booked their place in the FA Cup fourth round on Wednesday night thanks to a 2-0 victory over second-placed Leicester at King Power Stadium.
The north London side haven’t won the English top-flight crown since legendary manager Bill Nicholsan was in charge in 1951.
