Jon Flanagan was the big talking point on Twitter after the defender made his comeback in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Exeter City on Wednesday night.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp handed Flanagan a 39-minute run out after the young full-back replaced Connor Randall in the second half at Anfield.
Flanagan’s second-half cameo was his first appearance for the Reds in 619 days after a long spell on the sidelines following a knee injury in 2014.
