Guus Hiddink delivers update on Eden Hazard ahead of Chelsea v West Brom

Guus Hiddink insists that Chelsea will not rush Eden Hazard back to action after his latest injury setback

Guus Hiddink has revealed that Chelsea will not rush Eden Hazard’s return from injury following the Belgian playmaker’s latest setback.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since suffering a groin problem early on during the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the start of the year.

Hazard has endured a stuttering start to the new campaign and has failed to deliver the quality of performances which earned him the PFA player of the year award last season.

The Belgium international was recently out of action with a hip injury before suffering his latest fitness setback.

And speaking at a news conference, Chelsea interim boss Hiddink insisted on Tuesday that the Blues would give Hazard the necessary time to recover and not rush him back to action.
