Harry Kane was disappointed that Tottenham were not able to beat Everton on Sunday...
Harry Kane could not hide his disappointment after Tottenham Hotspur were unable to kick off 2016 with a victory at Everton on Sunday.
Spurs fell behind in the first half when former Tottenham player Aaron Lennon fired home in spectacular fashion to give his side the lead in the 22nd minute at Goodison Park.
However, the visitors fought back and drew level when Dele Alli controlled the ball and coolly slotted in to equalise on the stroke of half-time.
The result left Tottenham in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Arsenal after the first round of top-flight fixtures of the new year.
And Kane took to social networking app Instagram to deliver his verdict on the draw on Merseyside.
Kane shared the picture above from the game on the app and wrote: “Great away support today. Just disappointed we couldn’t turn it around for 3 points! We go again next week! #coys #premierleague”
