Harry Redknapp makes prediction about Louis van Gaal’s Man United future

Harry Redknapp believes Manchester United are set to stand by under-pressure manager Louis van Gaal

Harry Redknapp has taken to social media to state his belief that Manchester United are likely to stand by manager Louis van Gaal.

The Red Devils boss has found himself under increasing pressure in recent days after watching his side slump to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Southampton at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.

That loss means that United have now only won two of their last 10 top-flight games and left the club languishing five points adrift of the top four in the Premier League table.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Van Gaal’s future at Old Trafford in the media in the days following the loss to the Saints.

But former Tottenham Hotspur boss Redknapp is fully expecting to see the Red Devils back their manager until the end of the season at least – and says the players are more to blame for their poor form than the coach.
