Harry Redknapp raves about Tottenham star, compares him to Liverpool legend

Harry Redknapp believes that Dele Alli is developing into a “complete footballer” following his impressive form for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The England international has earned plenty of new admirers for his recent displays for Spurs and added to his blossoming reputation by scoring a superb equaliser as Tottenham game from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw at Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Alli has been a regular fixture in the Tottenham team so far this season, with the 19-year-old having scored five goals and made three assists in 18 Premier League games this term.
And Redknapp has revealed that he is a big fan of the Tottenham starlet.
Redknapp told The Telegraph: “The outstanding performance of the weekend for me was from Dele Alli.
“He has got everything and he is turning into the complete footballer. I thought he was absolutely magnificent against Everton.”
And in an update posted on Twitter after Spurs’ draw at Everton, Redknapp compared Alli to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
He tweeted:
Dele Alli’s the nearest thing I’ve seen to Stevie Gerrard. He can score goals, make goals, tackle, head it, pass it. All-round fantastic.
