John Barnes states his prediction for Tottenham v Leicester

John Barnes is fully expecting Tottenham Hotspur to beat Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday

John Barnes is backing Tottenham Hotspur to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory over Leicester City in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend.

Spurs have been one of the Premier League’s most consistent sides this season and have only lost twice in the top flight so far this term.

High-flying Leicester have been one of the English league’s surprise packages this season, with Claudio Ranieri’s men having enjoyed a stunning start to the campaign to leave them in second place in the table and just two points behind leaders Arsenal.

However, Tottenham have been in good form of late and head into the game on the back of their battling 1-1 draw at Everton last weekend.

And former Liverpool star Barnes is fully expecting Tottenham to emerge victorious when they host the Foxes in north London on Sunday.

Barnes wrote in his blog for Titanbet: “Spurs are in excellent form and Leicester have dropped off a little of late, so the London team, for me, will come out on top.

“I think the away side may be more concerned about Premier League results, too.”
