Jordan Henderson: This quality will make Jurgen Klopp successful at Liverpool

Jordan Henderson discusses what life has been like at Liverpool since Jurgen Klopp took over in October

Jordan Henderson believes that Jurgen Klopp’s ability to be genuine and make players feel at ease will bring success to Liverpool.

The German coach has endured a mixed start to life at Anfield since being appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor at the Merseyside club back in October.

The Reds have failed to find consistent form in the Premier League and have won only four of their last 10 games in the top flight.

Liverpool are preparing to host Stoke City in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Reds skipper Henderson has been thoroughly impressed by what he has seen from the former Dortmund coach so far this season and has heaped praise on the 48-year-old for his management style.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Henderson said: “He is genuine and makes you feel at ease.

“Everyone will tell you that he has been fantastic with them since he has been here.

“He’s very passionate, very emotional and you can see it all building in him on the day of a game. That reflects on us. You look over to the touchline and you see how desperate he is to win.”

Liverpool were 5-4 winners at Norwich City on Saturday to leave them in seventh place in the Premier League table.
