The Chile international has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw at Norwich City at the end of November.
Wenger revealed that Sanchez is back fit and available for selection heading into Sunday’s trip to the Britannia Stadium.
However, the Frenchman stopped short of confirming that Sanchez would definitely feature against the Potters on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground on Friday morning, Wenger told the gathered media: “We have no new injuries from the Liverpool game.
“The other question mark is about Sanchez. He has two decisive days. He’s fit and worked very hard. The decision we have to make is to take gamble or not on his injury.”
Arsenal head into Sunday’s game top of the Premier League table on goal difference from second-placed Leicester City.
The Gunners, who finished third last season, are looking to win their first top-flight title since 2003-04.
