Wenger delivers latest Arsenal injury update ahead of Sunderland cup clash
Alexis Sanchez won't be fit to face Sunderland, confirms Arsene Wenger as he gives the latest Arsenal injury update

Alexis Sanchez will not be fit for Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Sunderland at Emirates Stadium this weekend as the forward continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
It had been thought that Sanchez could make his return to action during the third-round clash in north London following his recent lay-off.
However, Wenger has revealed that the Chile international has suffered a setback in his recovery and won’t be available for selection against the Black Cats.
Wenger told Arsenal’s website: “The bad news of the week is that Alexis is not quite ready.
“It is a precaution because of his hamstring, and it takes a few more days. He’s not bad but he’s not ready.”
The news means that Sanchez is also a doubt for Arsenal’s crunch Premier League clash at Liverpool next week.
The forward has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City back in November.
Wenger went on to reveal that Tomas Rosicky is close to being available for selection again, while Mikel Arteta is in line to feature against Sunderland.
He continued: “Tomas Rosicky is not far, he’s back in full training next week, so should be available soon. Mikel is available.”
