Lee Dixon reacts to Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool

Lee Dixon was left speechless by Joe Allen's late equaliser after Arsenal's 3-3 draw with Liverpool at Anfield

Lee Dixon was left speechless after Joe Allen’s late strike helped Liverpool secure a 3-3 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The north London side led for most of the second half after Olivier Giroud’s second of the night in the 55th minute gave the visitors a slender lead at Anfield.

However, Liverpool substitute Joe Allen scored an 90th-minute equaliser within eight minutes of his introduction to salvage a point for Jurgen Klopp’s side in front of their home supporters.

Former Arsenal defender Dixon, who was part of the Gunners team that memorably sealed a 2-0 victory to win the title at Anfield in 1989, reflected on a thrilling encounter between the Premier League rivals.

Arsenal are level on points at the top of the Premier League table with Leicester City after Wednesday night’s six-goal thriller.
