Liverpool ponder bid for £75m-rated Bayern Munich star – report

Liverpool are said to be pondering a big money swoop for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski

Liverpool are reportedly interested in making a big-money swoop for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski during the January transfer window.

The striker has been in prolific form for the German club this season and has already scored 26 goals in all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Lewandowski has been linked with a move away from Bayern in recent days, and now the Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds are interested in the striker.

However, Liverpool would reportedly have to beat Real Madrid to the signature of the Poland international after the Spanish club were linked with a £75m bid for the forward.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be monitoring the forward’s situation, with the German coach having managed the striker during his spell at Borussia Dortmund.
