Brendan Rodgers doesn't make the cut in Liverpool's Instagram review of 2015

Brendan Rodgers didn’t make the cut in Liverpool’s Instagram review of 2015.

The Reds posted their favourite nine snaps of the calendar year on the photo-sharing app on New Year’s Eve.

Naturally, current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp featured heavily after the former Borussia Dortmund boss was appointed as Rodgers’s successor in October.

The 48-year-old charismatic German was handed the reins of the Merseyside outfit after Liverpool’s disappointing start to the season.

Former Reds captain Steven Gerrard also featured in three of their nine snaps following the end of his decorated career at the 18-time English champions.

But notably, Rodgers didn’t feature in any of Liverpool’s Instagram photos despite being in charge of the five-time European champions for nine months of 2015.

The caption read: “Happy New Year! 🎉😄 Check out our best nine posts on @instagram in 2015! ⚽️”

Liverpool have won five of their 11 Premier League games since Klopp took charge of the Reds after October’s Merseyside derby.
