Man United star Morgan Schneiderlin responds to journalist

Morgan Schneiderlin clearly keeps tabs on articles written on the Manchester United midfielder

Morgan Schneiderlin is drawing confidence from a glowing article on the Manchester United midfielder ahead of Saturday’s clash against Southampton.

The France international is expected to line up against his former employers at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Schneiderlin moved to United in a £25m deal from the Saints in the summer transfer window after previously being linked to Tottenham Hotspur.

While the United midfielder has hit his Southampton heights in statistical terms, Manchester Evening News writer Samuel Lockhurst believes the Frenchman is now one of Louis van Gaal’s key players.

And presumably having read the article and not just the headline, Schneiderlin sent a message to the MEN journalist on Twitter.

Schneiderlin has scored one goal and has been booked three times in 16 Premier League games for the Red Devils so far this season.
