Man United transfers: Louis van Gaal discusses January signings
Louis van Gaal addresses talk of Manchester United signing a striker in the January transfer window
Louis van Gaal says Manchester United are looking for solutions to their goal-scoring woes in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have struggled to produce incisive attacking football in the Premier League this season after a return of just 22 goals in 19 top-flight games.

The 20-time English champions have been linked with a £50m move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the January transfer window.
When asked if United would try to sign a striker in this month’s market, under-pressure Van Gaal appeared to indicate that the Red Devils are looking to add a goal-scorer to their squad.
“That is our problem,” Van Gaal is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“When you analyse most matches we were the dominating team, but we didn’t score.
“How many players have had the chances to score and why they didn’t score? You cannot always explain that.
“We are looking always for solutions in the team. Also, for this moment, but we still have a good team and we can still score goals.”
United are in sixth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Leicester City after a goalless draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday night.
