Memphis Depay is a happy man after helping Manchester United reach the FA Cup fourth round
Memphis Depay has taken to social media to reveal his delight at seeing Manchester United book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup thanks to a nervy 1-0 win over Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
The home side were disappointing throughout the third-round clash at Old Trafford and only had two shots on target during the whole game.
Substitute Depay played a part in the winner after he was fouled inside the area in added time and Wayne Rooney stepped up to score the resulting penalty and send the hosts through to the fourth round.
And despite the nervy nature of the performance, Depay was clearly pleased to help Louis van Gaal’s men book their place in the fourth round of the competition.
Depay shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote: “It was tense, but happy with this win. #GGMU #MUFC”
