Mesut Ozil reminds Arsenal supporters of their league position after 3-3 draw with Liverpool
Mesut Ozil reminded disappointed Arsenal supporters that the Gunners are still top of the Premier League after a 3-3 draw with Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The north London side led for most of the second half after Olivier Giroud’s second of the night in the 55th minute gave the visitors a slender lead at Anfield.
However, Liverpool substitute Joe Allen scored an 90th-minute equaliser within eight minutes of his introduction to salvage a point for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
And Ozil, who wasn’t involved in any of Arsenal’s three goals, highlighted the furious pace of the Premier League clash on Merseyside following a six-goal thriller.
Ozil posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “What a match! There was no time to blink during the 90 minutes!!! A pity we couldn’t take the three points with us to London!
But chin up, we’re still

Roberto Firmino edged Liverpool into a first-half lead thanks to a close-range finish before Aaron Ramsey levelled with a composed strike of his own.
