Michael Owen states his prediction for Man United v Swansea
Michael Owen is expecting to see Manchester United claim victory over Swansea City on Saturday
Michael Owen is expecting to see Manchester United coast to a straightforward victory over Swansea City at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils have been struggling to find consistent form in recent weeks and are currently on a run of eight games without a win in all competitions.
Louis van Gaal watched his United side be held to a goalless draw by Chelsea on Monday night as they again failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
Despite the result, United did produce an improved display against the Blues in front of their home fans.
And former Liverpool and United striker Owen is fully expecting to see United kick off 2016 with a victory at Old Trafford against the Swans.
Owen wrote in his blog for Bet Victor: “United played well against Chelsea midweek but it must be a concern that five of the last eight games at Old Trafford in all competitions have finished in 0-0 draws.
“United might not need to score too many goals, however, to pick up maximum points against a Swans’ side who are, themselves, struggling in front of goal.”

United, who finished fourth last season, were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage in early December.
