Aaron Ramsey declares his love for the FA Cup on his Instagram page ahead of Arsenal v Sunderland
Aaron Ramsey lifted the lid on his affection for the FA Cup ahead of Arsenal’s third-round clash against Sunderland on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s side are the reinging FA Cup holders after last season’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa side at Wembley.
In fact, the Gunners haven’t lost a game in the competition since 2013 after the north London side also won the competition in 2014 thanks to an extra-time win against Hull City.
Ramsey scored the dramatic winner for the Gunners against the Tigers almost two years ago, so it’s no surprise that the Wales international holds the competition in such high esteem.
Ramsey wrote on his Instagram page: “Looking forward to the start of our FA Cup campaign. Love this competition!”
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for the Premier League leaders in recent weeks after scoring two goals and making two assists in their last seven games in all competitions.
