Aaron Ramsey sends message to Arsenal supporters after 3-3 Liverpool draw at Anfield
Aaron Ramsey has expressed his disappointment that Arsenal couldn’t gift their travelling supporters three points on Wednesday night after a 3-3 draw with Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino scored two goals to put Liverpool into the lead twice in the first half before Ramsey and Olivier Giroud levelled for the visitors to leave the match all square at the interval.
The France striker appeared to have scored a 55th-minute winner but Jurgen Klopp brought on Joe Allen as a late substitute and the Welsh midfielder fired a 90th-minute winner past Petr Cech.
And Ramsey, who saw his Wales team-mate break Arsenal hearts, sent an Instagram message to the Gunners supporters following their disappointing draw.
Ramsey wrote: “Thanks to all the fans that travelled up, gutted not to be sending you home celebrating 3 points. See you Sunday for another big game!”
