Ander Herrera is a happy man...
Ander Herrera has told his Manchester United team-mates that they must continue to work hard and build on their 2-1 win over Swansea in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Red Devils, who headed into the game on the back of eight games without a win in all competitions, kicked off 2016 with three points thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney in front of their home fans at Old Trafford.
The victory moved United up to fifth place in the Premier League table and just two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, who take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
And Spanish midfielder Herrera was thrilled to help Louis van Gaal’s men finally return to winning ways and start the year on a positive note.
Herrera posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday and wrote: “Good way to start this year, now we have to build on this game and try to keep improving.”
