Ben Davies is eyeing FA Cup success after the Tottenham defender rallies his team-mates ahead of Leicester clash
Ben Davies has vowed that Tottenham Hotspur will hit the training ground hard to be prepared for the visit of Leicester City in the FA Cup this weekend.
The north London side played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon after goals from Aaron Lennon and Dele Alli.
Wales international Davies started the clash on Merseyside at left-back and former Swansea City defender smashed the crossbar with a powerful strike in the first half.
However, the Tottenham full-back has already turned his thoughts to the visit of Leicester at White Hart Lane in the FA Cup third round on Saturday afternoon.
Davies wrote on his Instagram page: “Tough game yesterday but we came home with a point! Now time to prepare for the FA Cup, have a good week everybody! 👊 #COYS”
The 22-year-old has been battling with England defender Danny Rose for the left-back berth in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team this season.
