Harry Kane has praise Tottenham Hotspur’s response to their mid-week setback after Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Sunderland.

The Denmark international cancelled out Patrick van Aanholt’s 40th-minute opener ahead of half-time before Mousa Dembele edged Spurs into a 2-1 lead with a half hour to play.

Eriksen gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side a two-goal cushion before Harry Kane scored a 79th-minute penalty to seal three points after Wednesday night’s 1-0 loss to Leicester.

The Spurs striker was delighted with how Tottenham responded to their defeat at White Hart Lane mid-week as Tottenham consolidated their place in the top four.

Kane posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page: “Very good response from the lads! Have a good weekend people! #coys #premierleague”

The England striker has scored 12 goals and has made one assist in 22 Premier League games for the north London side so far this season.
