Man United outcast Victor Valdes hasn't had too much to celebrate this year

Victor Valdes hasn’t enjoyed a great 2015.

The experienced Spain international has been out-of-favour at Old Trafford since moving to the Red Devils in the January transfer window in 2015.

The Spain international hasn’t made an appearance for the 20-time English champions this season after the veteran shot stopper fell out with United manager Louis van Gaal.

The 33-year-old has been forced to train away from the United first-team as the three-time Champions League winner continues to be linked with a move to Premier League rivals Newcastle United.

However, Valdes appeared to put his football woes to one side on New Year’s Day as the goalkeeper relaxed with his wife.

His wife Yolanda Cardona wrote: “Happy New year 2016!💋”

The three-time Champions League winner has made just two appearances in the Premier League since the goalkeeper’s move to United last January.

Spanish goalkeeper Valdes broke into the Barcelona first-team under Van Gaal and enjoyed a 10-year career at Camp Nou.
