Marouane Fellaini will be smiling for a few more days after Manchester United's 1-0 victory over Liverpool

Marouane Fellaini was all smiles at a New Balance event 24 hours after Manchester United’s 1-0 win at Liverpool.

The Belgium international made a vital contribution at Anfield on Sunday afternoon after his header led to Wayne Rooney’s 78th-minute winner in a 1-0 victory over their bitter rivals.

Fellaini has been heavily criticised again this season after United supporters highlighted a string of unimpressive performances for the 20-time English champions throughout the 2015/16 season.

However, the 27-year-old didn’t look fazed by the criticism aimed at the towering midfielder as Fellaini attended a New Balance photo shoot on Monday.

Fellaini wrote on his Instagram page: “Photo shoot today with @nbfootball”

The Belgium midfielder moved to United in a £27m deal from Everton under David Moyes in the summer of 2013.

The Red Devils are in fifth place and two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table.
