Mohamed Elneny has taken to social media to post an adorable picture of his son wearing an Arsenal shirt after the midfielder joined the club from FC Basel during the January transfer window last week.

The Egypt international finally put pen to paper on his contract with the Gunners last Thursday after days of speculation linking him with a move to Emirates Stadium.

Elneny was named on the Arsenal bench but was an unused substitute as Arsenal played out a goalless draw with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

However, it appears that the new Arsenal signing’s family have quickly warmed to the north London club, if Elneny’s latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Elneny shared the picture above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “My love is my son he is fan of @arsenal”

Elneny will be hoping to make his Arsenal debut when the north London side host champions Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
