Philippe Coutinho reacts to Liverpool's 5-4 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road
Philippe Coutinho congratulated his Liverpool team-mates after Saturday’s thrilling 5-4 victory over Norwich City.
Adam Lallana’s scored in the fifth minute of added time at Carrow Road to secure Liverpool’s first Premier League win of 2016 after an amazing nine-goal thriller against the Canaries.
Liverpool were trailing 3-1 at Carrow Road after Dieumerci Mbokani, Steven Naismith and Wes Hoolahan all scored after Roberto Firmino’s first-half opener for the Reds.
However, Jordan Henderson levelled with a close-range finish before James Milner capitalised on a defensive mishap to edge Liverpool 4-3 ahead with 15 minutes to play.
Norwich defender Sebastien Bassong’s stoppage-time strike levelled the game before substitute Lallana scored his first Premier League goal of the season in dramatic fashion.
Coutinho, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, wrote on his Instagram page: “What game, Great 3 points ”
