Sheyi Ojo reflects on a memorable FA Cup night at Anfield for the 18-year-old Liverpool striker
Sheyi Ojo won’t forget Wednesday night in a hurry.
The 18-year-old made his Anfield debut in the 65th minute of their 3-0 win against Exeter City after he replaced Wales international Joe Allen.
Ojo needed just 19 minutes to put the FA Cup third-round replay out of the League Two side’s reach with Liverpool’s second of the night.
The Liverpool youngster’s left-footed finish had all the hallmarks of a Daniel Sturridge goal as he stylishly curled his finish past Robert Olejnik.
The former MK Dons winger took to Twitter to reflect on an unforgettable experience.
