Piers Morgan tells Arsenal board to sack Arsene Wenger and hire this man
Piers Morgan is keen to see Arsenal make a bid to bring Pep Guardiola to The Emirates this summer
Piers Morgan has urged Arsenal to consider making a move to hire Pep Guardiola as Arsene Wenger’s successor at Emirates Stadium.
Guardiola’s future has been a source of relentless speculation in recent weeks after the Spaniard confirmed that he will be stepping down as Bayern Munich boss at the end of the season.
The Spaniard confirmed on Tuesday that his decision to quit the German club is purely motivated by his desire to take charge of a Premier League team.
Manchester City are reported to be the front-runners to secure the services of the former Barcelona boss, while Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are also reported to be interested.
However, celebrity Arsenal fan and club shareholder Morgan wants to see the Gunners go all out to try and bring Guardiola to The Emirates at the end of the season.
Morgan tweeted on Tuesday:
"I haven't decided on a new club yet. I want to experience a new city & I want to work in England." – Pep Guardiola.
HIRE HIM @arsenal.
