Piers Morgan addresses Arsene Wenger’s ‘miraculous’ Arsenal record
Piers Morgan refuses to accept Arsene Wenger has performed miracles at Arsenal
Piers Morgan has hit out at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger over his lack of success in the Champions League.
The Gunners eased into the fourth round of the FA Cup thanks to a 3-1 win against Sunderland on Saturday as Arsenal aim to become the first club to win the competition in three successive seasons.
While Arsenal have dominated England’s premier domestic cup competition in recent years, the Gunners have never won the Champions League despite finishing as runners-up in 2006.
And outspoken Gunners supporter Morgan refused to accept Arsenal’s impressive record of qualifying for the Champions League over the past 16 years was sufficient to paper over their lack of European silverware.
18yrs of qualifying for a competition you never win is fairly miraculous, I agree. https://t.co/3XV3t4O7xO

Wenger’s Gunners side are two points clear of second-placed Leicester City in the Premier League table ahead of their trip to Anfield on Wednesday night.
