Piers Morgan reacts on Twitter to Aaron Ramsey’s display in Arsenal v Chelsea

Piers Morgan was not at all happy about Aaron Ramsey's performance against Chelsea on Sunday...

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to criticise Aaron Ramsey’s performance after Arsenal slumped to a 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal were reduced to 10 men in the 18th minute when Per Mertesacker brought down Diego Costa, who was through on goal.

Costa then gave the visitors the lead in the 23rd minute when he finished from close range.

Arsenal failed to gain a foothold in the game and were frustrated for long spells by the defending champions, who enjoyed 53 per cent of the possession.

But Morgan was clearly disappointed with Ramsey’s display as the Gunners slumped to their first home Premier League loss of the season.

Morgan tweeted:

The result left Arsenal, who have not won the title since 2004, third in the Premier League table and three points behind leaders Leicester City in the table.

The Gunners’ next Premier League game is a home clash against Southampton on Tuesday 2 February.
