Piers Morgan appears to be happy with Arsenal's signing of Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel...
Piers Morgan has taken to social media to welcome Mohamed Elneny to Arsenal after the Egypt midfielder finally signed for the north London club on Thursday morning.
Arsenal confirmed the deal on Thursday after relentless speculation linking the midfielder with a January transfer to Emirates Stadium.
The 23-year-old has been brought in primarily as cover for the injured Francis Coquelin, who is currently sidelined with a knee problem.
The midfielder could make his Arsenal debut when the Gunners travel to Stoke City on Sunday afternoon.
And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan, who has been calling for Arsene Wenger to bolster his squad this month, appeared to be happy with the signing of Elneny from FC Basel.

Elneny spent three years with Basel, making more 90 league appearances and winning three back to back Super League titles.
