Piers Morgan unhappy with Arsenal’s lack of transfer activity

Piers Morgan questions why Arsene Wenger hasn't signed a player for Arsenal in January transfer window

Piers Morgan has questioned why Arsenal haven’t made any signings in the January transfer window so far.

The Gunners are two points clear at the top of the Premier League table thanks to a battling 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The north London side appear to be closing in on their first signing of the transfer window amid reports that Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny will move to the Premier League leaders.

Wenger has also been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Adrien Rabiot in recent weeks, whilst Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubayameng is another reported target.

However, outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan is dissatisfied with the transfer rumours and is desperate for Wenger to do some actual business in January.
