Piers Morgan: Why Arsenal haven’t been good enough

Piers Morgan isn't satisfied with Arsenal's return of two FA Cup crowns over the past 10 years

Piers Morgan says Arsenal’s return of two FA Cups in the past decade simply isn’t good enough.

The Gunners are on course to win a third successive FA Cup this season after a comfortable 3-1 victory over struggling Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.

Arsene Wenger has failed to guide the Gunners to Premier League glory since his legendary Invincibles side won the title in 2004 without suffering a defeat in 38 games.

Arsenal have also failed to come close to winning the Champions League since a 2-1 defeat by Barcelona in the final in Paris in 2006.

Outspoken Gunners supporter Morgan isn’t happy with Arsenal’s silverware return over the past 12 years or so, describing the FA Cup as a second-rate competition.
