Robbie Savage predicts where Tottenham Hotspur will finish this season

Robbie Savage is backing Tottenham Hotspur to finish in the top four this season

Robbie Savage has ruled Tottenham out of the title race – but believes that Spurs are on course to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The north London side have been one of the Premier League’s most consistent teams this season and are currently in fourth place in the table and just two points behind local rivals Arsenal in third.

I don’t think they will win the league

Spurs have been tipped by many to be potential outsiders to challenge for the Premier League crown this season in one of the closest title races in years.

The Lilywhites are currently just five points behind leaders Leicester City heading into the final 15 games of the season.

Former Birmingham City midfielder Savage feels that the title is out of reach for the north London side – but he is backing them to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I’ve been very impressed with Spurs.

“I watched them against Sunderland, what they were doing they were taking too many touches, almost became like Arsenal, trying to score perfect goal.

“When they started moving it quickly in final third they opened Sunderland up.

“I don’t think they will win the league but I think they will finish in the top four.”
