Stat highlights reported Liverpool target’s impressive form
Stat shows former Man United striker Javier Hernandez is Europe's in-form goal-scorer
It’s no surprise Jurgen Klopp has reportedly made Javier Hernandez his primary target given the striker’s impressive form.
The Mexico international moved to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United.
However, Louis van Gaal must be kicking himself given United’s lack of goals in all competitions this season as Hernandez continues to impress for his new club.
This ESPN stat shows that no player has scored more goal in their last 16 games than Hernandez after his latest goal-scoring heroics for Leverkusen.

The 27-year-old striker, who moved to Liverkusen in a £7.3m deal, has scored an incredible 19 goals in 16 games in all competitions for the German side ahead of ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and reported Reds target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Klopp, who was appointed as Reds manager in October, has been linked with a £20m move for the Mexican forward as the Liverpool manager looks to bolster his attacking options.
