Stats highlight Dele Alli’s stunning form for Tottenham Hotspur

Stats underline Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli's impressive form for the Mauricio Pochettino's side

Dele Alli has been one of the surprise packages of this season’s Premier League.

The Spurs midfielder cancelled out Everton winger Aaron Lennon’s 22nd-minute opener on the stroke of half-time in Sunday afternoon’s 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.

Alli’s 45th-minute strike was his fifth goal of the Premier League season after the 19-year-old moved to Tottenham in a £5m deal from League One side MK Dons.

Liverpool legends Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness were full of praise for the newly-fledged England international, who scored his first Three Lions against France in November.

And Opta Joe’s stats below highlight Alli’s impressive form for the north London side in recent weeks.

Alli has scored five goals and has made three assists in 18 Premier League appearances so far this season.
