Steve McManaman says Liverpool need to strengthen all areas of their squad in the January transfer window.
The Reds suffered a resounding 2-0 loss to West Ham United in the Premier League at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool have only won five of their 12 Premier League games since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October.
The Merseyside outfit have been linked with a move for Lazio striker Lucas Biglia, Schalke 04 youngster Leroy Sane and Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Ander-Stegen in recent days.
Former Liverpool midfielder McManaman discussed what areas the Reds must look to improve ahead of their 2-0 loss to West Ham at Upton Park.

“They need to strengthen all over the field. They’ve let in silly games at times. The forward line isn’t strong enough. I wouldn’t know what their best XI is and I don’t think he knows.”
The Reds are in eighth place in the Premier League after their third defeat in four games on the road.
Liverpool have lost four times since Klopp was appointed as their new manager.
The Reds host Arsenal in their next Premier League game at Anfield on 13 January.
