Tottenham star Dele Alli sends message to Liverpool striker

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli congratulates Sheyi Ojo on his first Liverpool goal

Dele Alli may already be one of the Premier League’s biggest stars, but the Totteham Hotspur midfielder appears to have his feet firmly on the ground.

The Spurs midfielder was a second-half substitute in Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Leicester City in their FA Cup third-round replay at King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.

However, the 19-year-old kept tabs on events at Anfield and Alli wasted no time sending a message to his former MK Dons team-mate Sheyi Ojo after the Liverpool youngster scored on his debut.

Alli, who signed a new five-year deal with the north London side last week after a brilliant start to the season, posted the below tweet for Ojo.

Tottenham set up a clash at League One side Colchester United in the fourth round thanks to the 2-0 win.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will host Slaven Bilic’s impressive West Ham United side in the next round at Anfield.
