Watch: Mamadou Sakho’s daughter interrupt interview for photo with Liverpool legend

Mamadou Sakho and his daughter hold up a BT Sport interview for a photo with Liverpool legend Steve McManaman

Mamadou Sakho appears to have his daughter well versed in Liverpool legends.

The France international was in the stands on Wednesday night as Liverpool eased to a 3-0 victory over Exeter City.

Steve McManaman was on punditry duty for BT Sport at Anfield as the Reds set up a fourth-round tie with West Ham United.

While BT Sport presenter Jake Humphries was interviewing Exeter manager Paul Tisdale, Sakho seemingly encouraged his young daughter to get a photo with McManaman, much to the amusement of the panel.

Spare a thought for David James, though, who was snubbed by Sakho and his daughter despite spending seven seasons at Anfield during his playing career.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender was rested for Liverpool’s FA Cup game after Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League.

Sakho is expected to return to Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up for their trip to Norwich City in Saturday’s early kick-off.
