Marcos Rojo posts a Twitter video as he reflects on a memorable Sunday afternoon at Anfield

Marcos Rojo is still savouring his unforgettable experience at Anfield on Sunday.

The Argentina international joined the travelling Manchester United supporters in the away end at Anfield as the defender continues to recover from a shoulder injury.

United captain Wayne Rooney scored a 78th-minute winner to seal three points for the Red Devils at the home of their bitter rivals in Sunday’s early kick-off.

And the Argentine defender posted a video on Twitter which shows the former Sporting Lisbon defender revelling in Rooney’s winner alongside his friend and United’s fans.

Rojo wrote on Twitter: “What a goal 🏽🏽 great moment celebrating the victory in the stand with my friends!”

Rojo has made just six Premier League appearances in an injury-hit season for the Argentina star.

The 25-year-old moved to the Red Devils in a £16m deal from Sporting Lisbon in 2014.
