Liverpool and Manchester City will do battle in the first cup final of the season at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds are aiming to win the League Cup for a record ninth time, although the Merseyside outfit haven’t won the competition since 2011.

The Citizens have won the Capital One Cup more recently after Manuel Pellegrini’s side were 3-1 winners against Sunderland at Wembley in 2014.

Liverpool set up a Europa League last-16 meeting with Manchester United after Thursday night’s 1-0 win against Augsburg at Anfield.

The Eastlands outfit ended a three-game losing run after a 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League in Ukraine on Wednesday night.

Liverpool have struggled to find consistent form since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor at Anfield back in October but will be desperate to lift their first trophy under the German on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester City, meanwhile, will be hoping to give Pellegrini a successful send-off by winning a trophy in his final season in charge before Pep Guardiola takes over in the summer.

Here is a breakdown of the best League Cup betting offers ahead of Sunday’s Liverpool v Man City showpiece at Wembley, as we round up the best betting odds and enhancements for the game.
