Dele Alli had a message for Kieran Trippier after his goal for Tottenham on Sunday...

Dele Alli took to social media to congratulate Kieran Tripper on scoring his first goal for Tottenham in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Watford at White Hart Lane.

Trippier tapped in Alli’s low cross in the 64th minute to wrap up a dominant win for Spurs in front of their home fans in north London.

The result left the north London side flying high in second place in the table and just five points behind leaders Leicester City, who beat Manchester City 3-1 at Etihad Stadium earlier in the day.

And Alli took to Twitter to send a message of congratulations to his team-mate and express his delight at helping his side claim the three points.

Tottenham now turn their attentions to their next Premier League game – a trip to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Alli has scored seven goals and made five assists for Tottenham so far this season.
