Eden Hazard isn’t happy at Chelsea, claims ex-Man United star
Johnny Giles has his say on Chelsea's under performing Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard looks like a discontented player at Chelsea, says Johnny Giles.
The Belgium international was substituted during the second half of Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to the Ligue 1 champions over the past 12 months or so and the 25-year-old hinted at his interest in a move to the French capital last week.
Former Republic of Ireland international Giles believes Hazard can make a big difference in Chelsea’s Champions League campaign, but doesn’t reckon the Belgian playmaker wants to be at Stamford Bridge.
“If they have Hazard playing to the capacity that he can play at, he would make a big difference,” Giles told Newstalk.
“He seems to be a discontented lad. He looks like a player who wants to get away. He doesn’t look happy where he is.”
Hazard, who moved to Chelsea from Lille in 2012, is still waiting to score his first Premier League goal of the 2015/16 season.
The Belgium forward scooped the PFA player of the year award last April after Hazard scored 14 times in 38 games for the Premier League champions.
