Chelsea to make call on Eden Hazard ahead of Man United clash
Chelsea will make a late decision on whether to start Eden Hazard for Sunday's clash with Manchester United
Guus Hiddink has revealed that he has not yet decided whether Eden Hazard is ready to start Chelsea’s Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Belgian playmaker has shown signs of improvement in recent weeks after his recent injury lay-off with a groin problem.
Hazard started Chelsea’s 5-1 win in the FA Cup at MK Dons last weekend as he scored his first goal of the season.
And the 25-year-old was a second-half substitute as Chelsea were held to a goalless draw by Watford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Hazard has struggled to produce consistent performances for Chelsea so far this season but looks to be gradually regaining his form.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon, Hiddink revealed that he has not yet decided whether he will play Hazard from the start against the Red Devils on Sunday.
Chelsea, who won the title last season under Jose Mourinho, head into the game in 13th place in the Premier League table.
