Gary Lineker makes big claim about Tottenham starlet on Twitter

Gary Lineker is a big fan of Dele Alli...

Gary Lineker believes that Dele Alli could end up being the first name on the England team-sheet at this summer’s European championships in France.

The Spurs attacker has been in fine form for the north London club and has earned plenty of new admirers for his performances in the Premier League for the Lilywhites.

Alli has scored seven goals and made five assists for Spurs in the top flight to help Mauricio Pochettino’s men up to second place in the table and just two points behind leaders Leicester City.

The 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Spurs drew 1-1 with Fiorentina in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 clash on Thursday night.

And Lineker was impressed by the teenager’s display against the Serie A outfit.
