Ex-England manager Hoddle heaped praise on Rashford for his nerveless debut in front of a packed Old Trafford in the Europa League.
“He looked comfortable in the game with his team-mates. He didn’t have any time to get nervous,” Hoddle told ITV Sport.
“He wasn’t told last night that he was playing. He was thrown into the deep end. His hold up play, his back heel and his change of pace; he looks a real prospect.”
United were drawn against north-west derby rivals Liverpool in the Europa League last-16 draw on Friday afternoon.
The Red Devils host bitter rivals Arsenal in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
