Harry Kane was a big fan of Teddy Sheringham

Harry Kane has revealed that he would have loved to have played alongside Teddy Sheringham for Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane has earned plenty of new admirers for this impressive form for Spurs in recent seasons.

The England striker has scored 16 goals and made one assist in 26 Premier League games for the north London side so far this season to help them up to second place in the table.

Kane missed Tottenham’s win over Fiorentina in the Europa League on Thursday night with a broken nose.

The forward was asked which former Tottenham star he would have liked to play alongside by one fan on Twitter on Thursday night.

Tottenham now turn their attentions back to the Premier League and their home clash with Swansea City on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane.
