Harry Kane has taken to social media to reveal that he got an early night on transfer deadline day after Tottenham did not bring in any new players.

The north London side were heavily linked with moves for a number of top stars during the course of the winter window but Mauricio Pochettino opted not to bolster his squad with any new signings on deadline day on Monday.

Spurs striker Kane was clearly keeping an eye on proceedings as the transfer deadline drew ever nearer on Monday night.

But the England striker was quick to sign off after the 23:00 GMT deadline passed without any major moves.

The Spurs striker instead turned his attentions to his side’s Premier League clash with Norwich City on Tuesday night.
