Man United have opened talks to sign £50m-rated striker, claims insider
Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus this summer
Manchester United have a genuine interest in signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus, according to Italian football expert Alvise Cagnazzo.
The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements following a disappointing campaign for Louis van Gaal’s men.
United have struggled to find consistent form all season and are currently fifth in the Premier League table and six points adrift of the top four heading into the final 12 games of the campaign.
The Old Trafford outfit are expected to be one of the biggest-spending clubs in the summer transfer window following their disappointing season thus far.
The Red Devils have been linked with a big-money bid for Dybala in recent weeks, and insider Cagnazzo says that United could be a good destination for the 23-year-old.
Cagnazzo told the Sun: “Manchester United have a genuine interest in signing Juventus frontman Paulo Dybala.
“Presently, intermediaries from both clubs are meeting and initial negotiations have started.
“Though there is no concrete offer as yet, the Italian giants appeared to have rejected an initial, informal proposal of around £50m — Dybala is worth more.”
Manchester United are currently gearing up for their FA Cup fifth-round clash with Shrewsbury Town on Monday night.
